Colt's Birthday!

Wow! It has been a busy month!  I am still in shock that my baby is now in the double digits!  He is TEN!  Where has the time gone?  I am so blessed to be his mom!  He is a funny, smart, lego obsessed little boy!  Before his birthday we asked him if he wanted a party or to take a special trip.  He chose the trip!  We planned a trip to GREAT WOLF LODGE.  It is an amazing indoor waterpark!  It was our first time going and I have to say that we will be returning! It was so much fun!  On the second day we surprised Colt and Cam with a trip to the Legoland in Texas. It is a smaller version of the HUGE legoland in California.  The boys were so excited and loved it!  Of course at the end of the Legoland adventure they have a huge store and Colt had to spend his Birthday money!  He was so kind and even bought Camaron a set!  We then headed to Grammy and Grumpy's house for the night.  It was good to see them even though it was for just a short time.  We had an awesome birthday celebration and the boys were worn out afterwards!

RODEO!

This weekend was the Montgomery county rodeo! The boys have participated in it for the last several years! They love it! Colt participated in the Goat Ribbon pull again this year.  He did great!  He almost placed!  Camaron participated in the Mutton Bustin competition for the first time.  He has been dreaming of this for a year!  He didn't ride long but he loved it and is already asking when he can do it again!  I am so glad that the boys are able to have fun and participte in these fun events! After their event we let them ride a mechanical bull!  Cam was all for it until he got on and then he was scared!  He has seen how some people fly off and didn't want that to happen to him! The guy was great and just let him ride slowly around! Colt loved riding and did really good!  Unfortunately my camera messed up and I didn't get it on video!  :-(  But it was still fun!

Easter weekend!

We had a fabulous weekend! Trever, Steph and the boys came over to spend then weekend. We had so much fun shooting BB guns, checking out the garden, shooting fireworks, egg hunts, dying eggs, eating TONS of food and celebrating Jesus!
The boys played outside almost the entire weekend. It was perfect weather despite the 15 minute rain storm!
We had an eg hunt in our property and also went to our neighbors for a big hunt! It was a great weekend!
