Update: We saw the allergist. He agreed that this was a very severe reaction. He wants to test Mary for a fire ant allergy so we will do the blood work next week. We now have an epipen and must carry it everywhere we go. So for now we just wait and see but we are prepared just in case she has another encounter with the ants!
Follow our family as we move from a typical subdivision house to 20 acres of land!

Mary's ER visit
Mary was apparently bit by a few ants while sitting in our media room. Within a few minutes she was breaking out in hives! It was progressing very fast! We gave her some Benadryl and decided to go to the ER. They immediately took us back and began working. She was given more Benadryl and a steroid. It was a pretty severe reaction so after seeing her pediatrician we have an epipen and a referral to see an allergist.

BASEBALL TIME!
Cam played catch pitch baseball this year. He LOVED it!! He was on the TCU HORNED FROGS team. He played catcher the whole season and was so excited about that! He loved being catcher! He made good progress in learning the game. He was really starting to hit pretty good. His team struggled and only one two games the whole season ( we did have lots of rain outs). Camaron hit the game winning hit in both of those games!!! It was so exciting! They gave him the game ball and all the coaches signsed it! He now has that ball sitting by his bed! Fun!!
