Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas season!  We are truly blessed!  Troye had to work Christmas Eve so the boys and I went to church while he worked.  After we all arrived home we had our annual tradition of opening up our one gift, which the boys know is always pjs!  They love Duck Dynasty so DD pjs were the perfect fit!  Troye read the Christmas story and bedtime it was!  Camaron woke up at 4 and tried to look at presents!  We shooed him back to bed and made them wait until 6!!  They finally dragged us out of bed and present time had arrived!  The boys were so excited to give us our gifts that they wanted us to go first!  How sweet!!  They finally had their turn and both of them got new Erector sets!  They were super excited!  Then the big gift arrived..... A ZipLine!!  Wahoo!!!  Troye spent the rest of the day installing it!  By that night we were zipping across the creek!! So much fun!  What a wonderful Christmas!!

Christmas at Grammy's and Grumpy's

We went to Grammy's and Grumpy's to celebrate Christmas.   It was just us since Uncle Mark and Aunt Amber and Tyler moved to Iowa.  We had a great time.  It was wet and cold!  We all enjoyed good food and exchanging gifts.  The boys were loaded down with gifts!

Goats!

A friend of mine was moving out of state and had 3 goats. She knew we wanted some and offered to give them to us! Well we couldn't turn that down! Of course we don't have room so we quickly built a hut and fence for them! They are adorable! We have 2 pygmy/dwarf mixes and 1 nubian goat. There are 2 females and 1 male. We hope to breed them and have baby goats (kids) and use the milk for soap and cheeses! How exciting!

Grumpy's hospital visit

Grumpy came to visit Camaron for his birthday but the very next day Grumpy went to the hospital. He had been sick for a long time and it just got to be too much. They admitted him and he stayed for a few days. Long story.... but basically he ended up in the hospital for over 30 days and had 4 surgeries and 8 days in icu! It was a very scary time for all of us but I am so happy to say that he is doing so much better. The doctors were not sure he would even make it out of surgery but he is a fighter and has so much more to do so he didn't give up! The boys and I were able to go and stay most of the time. It was good to be able to be there to do whatever we could to help. We give all the praise to God! Thank you to everyone who prayed for the family!
