Camp Time!

Colt was able to go to church camp this year with our great friends the Haigoods! The camp is actually just down the road from us, but it is an overnight camp.  This was his first experience going away for the night to a camp.  I knew he would have fun and he did!  They were awesome at taking pictures and sending them so we could see how they were doing!  While he was gone our friends the Haigood's have two younger kids so they came and stayed with us!  It was so much fun and made it much easier for Cam to have some company!  I also loved have my friend, Jill hang out!

VBS 2014

Whew!  VBS is now over for the year!  It was such a fun week, but I am exhausted!  Colt was in the older class this year.  They do things a little different and perform a musical at the end of the week.  He did a great job.  He normally doesn't like to get up in front of people but he did and did a fantastic job!  Cam was in the Kindergarten class, which I happened to be helping teach.  We had the largest class and they kept us busy!  We did lots of crafts, had great bible stories and learned some awesome songs! 

All Stars!

Camaron's regular season of tball is coming to a close, but he is so excited that he gets to continue to play!  The coaches voted and picked several kids from each team to make an All Star team!  Camaron made the team!! Oh let me tell you he was beyond ecstatic!   The new team represents the town so they are the Trinity Tigers!  They practiced hard for 2?weeks and also received new uniforms.  They play in a tournament with double elimination.  Unfortunately they were eliminated during the first round, but honestly Cam didn't care!  He LOVES playing!  His prized possessions are his uniforms, trophy and medals!! We are super proud of him!

Brittne and the Barn

This week we had a visit from Brittne!  The boys always love to have her come and stay with us!  We had a busy weeks so we didn't go and do lots but still had fun.  The boys loved to show her all the animals we have and while she was here we had a new addition to the land! Our Barn!!!!  We finally had our barn installed! It is so exciting to see the changes taking place!

New Goat!!!!

We have another kid!! Yes another baby goat!!  Tilly, our Nubian goat gave birth to a singlet on 5/24/14!  Colt found it while doing chores and we were surprised!  We new she was pregnant but according to our dates we thought she had a month left!  I guess we were wrong!  We named the little girl goat, Ruthie!  She has beautiful coloring!  And will be tall like her mom!  So much fun!!

Easter bunnies

On Easter morning we woke up to find our rabbit had given birth to 8 bunnies!!  it was so cool that they were born on Easter morning!! 

Update:  all bunnies have died.  So sad!  We are not sure why, but it does happen and it is common with the rabbits first litter.  We will try again. 

Colt turns 11

We have had a busy schedule so for Colt's birthday we invited a couple of other homeschool boys over to spend the night!  They played with the animals, built forts, slept in the tent and played video games!  It was a great time!! Colt requested Upside down pineapple cake for his birthday.  We got him metal detector so he can explore the land and find treasures!!  Happy Birthday Colt!!!
