My dad and papaw built me a playhouse way back in 1978! It was moved in 1980 to the house where my parents currently live. Well this week the house made another trip to our house! The boys are so excited to have a playhouse and I know that one day Marybeth will love it too! I love looking out the window and seeing it!
Follow our family as we move from a typical subdivision house to 20 acres of land!

Grammy and Grumpy time!
Last week the boys and I went to Grammy and Grumpy's for a few days. Grammy had signed Colt up for a sewing camp. He went to her quilt shop and learned how to sew some fun items! He made shorts, a neck cooler, a pillow, and a bag! They are turned out great! While Colt was sewing Grammy took Camaron shopping! He had a blast! We also went to the movies and saw Monsters University! It was cute. One day we went to the mall and the boys made animals at Build-a-bear. They also jumped on a bungee trampoline! They were not sure about it at first but ended up loving it! We had a great time!!

MUD!! And fun!!
The boys love the mud! And with 6 inches of rain in two weeks there is lots of mud! I can't tell you how many changes of clothes we go thru each day! But it is all worth it to see them having so much fun playing in the creek, throwing mud pies, going mudding on the 4 wheeler and more!

Trying to find the silver lining!
Troye went back to working the night shift last week. We all HATE it! But the only thing we can do is pray for something to change it; in the meantime we are trying to make the best of it. We still have some adjusting to do but hopefully we will get there! He works 6pm to 6am, so it is a long night for him and now he has an hour drive there and back! I am specifically praying for his safety while driving.
The great thing is that our new house seems to work much better for Troye sleeping during the day! He does not hear us at all and the curtains make the room black so he is able to sleep better than before!
Cam is taking it the hardest. He just doesn't understand why Troye has to sleep during the day, probably because he doesn't realize Troye is gone all night! Troye was off the last two days and we tried to make the most of the time. We had a camp out in the living room and roasted s'mores in the fireplace! The boys loved it! We also played charades... The boys current favorite game!! Today we had nice weather so it was important that we work on the greenhouse. The boys helped out but also had a lot of time to just run and play and of course find the mud! They were soaking wet and covered in mud by the end of the day! It was fun to watch!
So even though we do not like this shift and it is not easy we are trying to make the most of it and not complain! I said try! Here are some pictures of the boys in the mud and our camp out!

Army men.... A day the boys will remember!
Today the boys and I went to Huntsville with my dad. After a trip to Walmart we stopped by Chicken Express. I still love that chicken! When we pulled up there were 4 charted buses of Army men. Cam was so excited to see a "real" army man! When we went in to the store it was packed and there was a huge line of army men. We decided to go ahead and eat there despite the wait. We really didn't have to wait long. As soon as I was done ordering an army man approached me and introduced himself. He asked if he could give the boys a patch. So he introduced himself to the boys and asked their names! They were polite and shook hands with him and then he gave each of them a patch from his unit. He said they were out of Ft. Hood and 3rd Seahawks. After that I took a picture and we said goodbye! This really made the boys day! There were so excited and impressed that he came over to us! AWESOME!

Horse swing
Grammy and Grumpy gave us a tire horse swing! We put the swing up and so far the boys love it! It was a challenge to get it up since the tree was over 35ft tall!
